In a fiercely contested battle in which tempers frayed on and off the pitch Forest emerged victorious but had to hold on, late on.

Forest to be fair did play some neat football in the first half however left many groaning for the final whistle in the second. It's a funny thing? Forest never seem to play an entire game, just one half and this has been the case for some years now.

We complain enough about not getting decisions and the Dickov Elbow on McKenna whilst he was rushing forward more evidence of some imbalance (perhaps?).
We have two weeks break now which will be good for those nursing injuries but perhaps yet another stick in our wheel when we greatly need to get some momentum going.

All in all a great game for general supporters, to a Forest supporter a sigh of relief, at least we can now relax and watch the Earnshaw saga unfold.
